I’m very sorry to hear of Skips passing.  My condolences to the entire family.  Skip was by far the biggest influence on my law enforcement career, from degree program in FDL to recruit school.  Couldn’t have had better!  Your words describing Skip are perfect.

Skip is probably one of the friendliest, kindest people we have ever had the pleasure of being able to call our friend. We wish only the best for Marie and the rest of his family going forward.

A very heartfelt thank you to all that have sent memories and photos so far, as well as to those that have donated. The entire Praefke family cannot thank you all enough.

As a Minnesotan Skip new he had the upper hand when it cam to sports rivalries: Vikings-Packers and Gophers-Badgers.  He was kind not to rub it in too much.  Whether it was talking sports, youth basketball, Muskie fishing or life at the deer camp, Skip brought his knowledge, smile and naturally friendly nature to the conversation.  Like everyone, I will miss his positivity and bright smile.

50 Years of friendship, starting with being partners on the Police Department, to many, many great times in Lando. Skipper sold us land next to him, many get togethers, featuring Old Fashions, cigars, Old Style beer, deer hunting, and just great talks, and conversations. Runs to Burnt Bridge and Forrest Lake Rd.   Miss you my forever friend!  Gary and Cheryl Guenther

On behalf of the Mrozinski family, I can say “Skip” will be remembered for his genuine kindness, he could make my dad (Ray) laugh so hard he would cry.  I am sure my dad was happy to greet him into heaven!!!!

Skip was loved by our family. Ray met him at those pearly gates I’m sure. Kateri and I both looked to see if any of the family were on facebook and just saw Skips notice of his passing. We have special memories of many past good times. I hope Marie and I will reconnect. Our love goes out to you all. Forever memories. The Mrozinski Family.  Judy  Todd  Joe. Angela and Kateri

Thoughts and prayers to you and yours in this difficult time. May God comfort you in this difficult time! Skip was a very good friend and fellow employee. He was loved by many and had a heart of God. Peace and love!

My thoughts and prayers are with Marie and Skip's family. I worked with Skip at FVTC for many years. He was so kind, considerate, funny and  always made me smile.  He adored his family and mentioned you often. Heaven did receive an angel, until you  meet again.

Skip immediately welcomed Spencer and I and treated us like family. I have always admired his ability to let people know how he felt about them in the moment. The love he had for Marie, Ryan, Scott, Jay, Cindy and the kids was apparent to all that knew him. I will always remember him with a huge smile across his face and will share many old fashioneds with him at our shared sign ❤️❤️. Heaven gained an amazing soul. Sending so much love to this incredible family.

I’m so sorry to hear that my grade school and high school friend has passed. I’ll always remember the good laugh we had at our 50th high school reunion crammed into Alice’s car after the school tour! He’s now at peace with his eternal smile.

My heart is heavy with this sad news.  Skip fought a good fight to be sure.   He will be deeply missed by all of his Homestead classmates - especially those from his St. Cecilia's grade school class.
Skip is one of the few special friends I was blessed to have shared my life with.We had a great time with he shared so much of himself. Thanks Skipper you will always be missed and loved. OB !!!

A visit to a park before or after dinner out. — with Barbara, Marie, Skip and Ralph
Skip was such a joy to be around.  Ralph and I feel so blessed to have both him and Marie in our lives.  We enjoy dining out, fishing, home cooked meals with our dear friend.  He will be missed.
He was a titan of heart and warmth. My heart is with you all.
