Mr. Allen Lynn passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024, following a major stroke in 2021.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, March 2, 2024, 2 p.m. at The Christian Praise and Worship Center, Reverend Dr. James Gallon, Pastor and Officiate.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy and Odell (Warren) Lynn, siblings Harvey Lynn, Elijah Lynn, Willie Lynn, Eddie Lynn, James “Jamie” Lynn, Roy Lee Lynn, David Lynn, Baby Boy Lynn (stillborn), Willene Lynn, Ora Lee Floyd, Baby Girl Lynn (stillborn), Bobby Jean Odom, and son Marcus Allen Lynn.

He leaves to cherish his memory: Allen was married several times and leaves to cherish his memories with children: Machelle Lynn, Chevelle Lynn, Allen S. Lynn, and Allison Lynn Cubero (Juan). Grandchildren; Eric Cotman, and Jamaal Philbert; Sisters, Lessie Lattimore (Huey) of (Louisville, AL), Sally Bruce Lynn, (Tampa, FL) and Nellie Lynn (St. Peterburg, FL), sister-in-law; Beverly Lynn and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and special friends ex-wife Fontaine Wells, Deacon Ned Lyons (deceased) and Deaconess Saundra Lyons. 

Unfortunately, we could not name them all those who had an impact on his life, but know that you were loved and appreciated.          

The family is asking that everyone meet at the church.
