Kathy & Carrie - Sending you both my love. Al was a good man. He will be missed.
Rest in peace, Brother. You will be missed.
Please accept my most heart felt condolences and sympathies. Al was a great friend and we shared, with others in our group we called "Orion", some really great and memorable experiences. Al and Kathy were always very generous and welcoming to all of us. Al will be very much missed. God bless.

We offer our most sincere prayers and condolences to the family and close friends. May the good brother rest in the peace that he so well deserves.
I met Al when he came over to my church from his in Brookfield. We
became friends and went on several fishing trips, with friends plus
church activities. Al and I made 3 fortnight trips, out east and west.
He had a big heart, and we were fortunate (thanks to Kathy) to be
able to reconnect; And with old friends we were able to share in some
wonderful moments the last three years. Until we meet again, in the
house of the Lord.
So sorry for your loss. Mr Lutz was honest kind caring and helpful. He will be surely missed. I am praying for the families strength and comfort.
Our condolences to the family. Mr. Lutz will be missed at Stateville.

A few summers ago Al and I went fishing. Just the two of us. He took me to one of his favorite spots. He was in a massive amount of pain, due his knees, but he still managed to walk several miles with all his fishing gear to the perfect little fishing spot. He sat down on the lake edge, baited our hooks, and cast the line. We didn't really speak. We just enjoyed the quiet and fished. He caught nothing. I managed to catch a tiny little bluegill. Al made a big deal about the fish. He even took my picture and framed it. The fish was not camera worthy, but he was so happy and proud. He loved spending time with his family. It didn't matter what we did. As long as we were together.
