Thanksgiving with the Dinsmore’s
My dad was my best friend. He taught me how to fish, how to handle guns, how to shoot, how to drive, how to grill, how to make his homemade hummingbird nectar,  how to change a tire, how to bleed brakes. The list is infinite. Hes gone but at least I still have the memories. I miss him so much. I know my heart will hurt forever.
Dins was one of the best AMMO troops around. He was a really great man. Rest in peace brother IYAAYAS!!!!
I was devastated when I heard the news of Allen's passing.  I served with Allen at Barksdale from 2001 to 2011 and he was one of the first ones to welcome me. We both hit it off well and became good friends. We both went to the NCO academy together and was able to drive over to my hometown of Opp, AL one weekend. While there, he met my parents. Also, we were able to do some fishing while there. Needless to say, we both enjoyed the outdoors very much and liked to share stories of our outdoor adventures. Allen, you will be missed dearly. RIP my friend.

Sorry for your loss.  I worked with Dins at Barksdale for many years.  Great guy that will be missed by many.

Allen taught me how to ride a bicycle. He and his mother and brothers took care of me when my father passed away in 1984. I went duck hunting with Allen and his father a few times as a young teenager. We kept in touch as best as we could when we were in the military, and afterwards. I will miss him and his humor and dignity.

I'm still in Shock. I'm so Sad I didn't find his number .I tried to call him Friday because an old friend was in town. But his number was gone. We had some crazy fun in life. My 1 memory I will keep forever.  He is why I can't ever drink Miller lite . He loved his dip .and game night he chose my Miller lite bottle as his spit bottle. And sat it right where my beer was . And you can guess what came next. He laughed so hard mean while I was face in garbage can . And he never let me forget . I the night I dran his dip spit. Gross 100%. A great memory to bring a smile with a queasy stomach.but it's my memory I will never forget. I wish I could have seen his face when he saw him mom,Dad & Angel his hunting sidekick. I'm so sorry for Krysten and A.J I know your pain. And A.j  he was so proud of the both of you. But that grand baby  was everything to him.
