Background

On Thursday, Feb 5, 2026, at 10:32pm - surrounded by loved ones - in a room filled with love and peace, Peanut finally won his battle against his anoxic brain injury and passed into the next life where he is now whole again and able to laugh, walk, and run. He leaves behind 3 children and 1 grandson who will carry on his legacy for years to come. He also leaves behind many nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great nephews, a list much too long for this space.

Unfortunately, Peanut did not have any life insurance or savings, and our family is now asking for donations to give him a peaceful, respectful farewell. Any contribution to help us cover expenses to honor his wishes to be cremated would mean the world to our family. Anything over our goal will help pay for an urn and keepsakes, as well as helping his children with any other needs or expenses to honor their dad. A celebration of life will be held on another date in the future to be announced later, where we hope to relive all the happy times spent with him.
He will be missed every day, every second, every moment and with every breath for the rest of our lives. His memory will live on in his children and the stories from others that we hope will be told for many years to come. We know that he would not want tears and rather that the laughter you shared with him be how he was remembered. He would want everyone to cherish the “remember when” moments and help his spirit to live on in the memories and stories that live within all of us who loved him.
As a family, we understand that many may not be able to help monetarily, but we ask that you please share/pass on this fundraiser which will help just as much as anything financial. We also ask for prayers for the days to come as his children and their mother walk through this new world without him in it.

The life of the dead is placed in the memory of the living - Marcus Tullius Cicero
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal
