Allan's obituary

Allan Thomas Nagy of Hillsborough, New Jersey passed away surrounded by his loving family on April 4, 2026.

Allan was born in Bronx, New York on November 23, 1946 to Michael and Madeline Nagy. He grew up in Massachusetts before moving to New Jersey to start his career. He met his wife Deena where they both worked at Chubb. He spent over 30 years of his career with Chubb. Allan and Deena got married on May 7, 1983 and have been married for 43 years.

Allan had a passion for music and took part in a local choir for some time. He also had a love of sports and you could find him attending a Somerset Patriots baseball game all summer long if he wasn’t heading down the shore. He was the biggest supporter of both his daughters and was at every single dance competition and recital.

He was predeceased by his father, Michael; his mother, Madeline; his father-in-law, Maurice and his cousins Bill and Rich. Allan is survived by his wife, Deena (nee Rothseid); daughter Jessica; daughter Allie Moroney (Mike) and two grandsons, Maddox and Asher. He is also survived by his sister, Maddy and brother, Mike along with their spouses and families. He will forever be remembered for his wit and humor.

The family would like to thank the staff of All American Assisted Living at Hillsborough and ArchAngel Services for the care and comfort they helped to provide Allan.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date and location yet to be determined by the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
