So sad to hear about Al’s passing. I played hockey with Al for many years . Al was a great guy with a dry scents of humor. We had many laughs together at the ice rinks and I always enjoyed his company. Rest in peace Al.
Louie and Family: John and I send our deepest sympathies to you . We will cherish the memories we have of Alan.May God wrap his arms around you and give you peace at this most difficult time. John and Barbara

I have many fond memories of hanging out at the Currie house with Andy and his family.  Sometimes we would play pool and Allan would join us.  One memorable moment for me was when we were playing a game of 8 ball and Allan had a couple of balls nearly touching that were going to be super hard to break apart without losing a turn, and they stayed in that position for a few rounds.  After a while, the cue ball finally landed in a position on his turn where a window emerged that he could sink one of them.  He got so excited and explained 'Yes, I finally get to hit my combo!' and stepped up and gave the balls a crack, sinking the tough combo - but also drilling the cue ball straight into the side pocket.  It was just so funny, the excitement on his face followed by such a royal fail.  That stuck out for me as such a great example of what I loved about him.  That combination of brilliant expertise, pure joy, sense of humor, positive attitude, and ability to laugh at himself.   I really enjoyed and admired this man.  Sandra, Nathan, and Andy, you were so blessed to have him in your lives.
