Hard to believe Alicia is gone one year; though I would venture that she has never really left… I offer this little remembrance on this anniversary and  New Year… I can’t say I knew Alicia very well, but the times I encountered Alicia and John each year (and sometimes 2-3 times a year) it was always (ALWAYS!) uplifting, pleasant and rewarding. They make one feel special because they are special people. God bless Alicia and the DuBay family. Peace be with you in the new year.
May the legacy of Alicia live on in the happy memories of her success and goodwill. May here spirit continue to bring joy to all the DuBay family. Rest in Peace Alicia.
Alicia you will be missed, Sheri & I have you to thank for bringing us together and I will never forget the work planning discussions in our early career days. May you Rest in Peace and enjoy the Kingdom of Heaven, we will miss you dearly. Robert & Sheri Sammons

Sarah Andrews: A great service today for a very special person. Alicia's passion for life will not be forgotten. She was a great friend and teacher to me and I will always remember her. She taught me so much. Thank you for sharing the live stream with us.
Mark Taft Wrote: Alicia we will miss you greatly. Hard for me still to believe you are not going to be on our next call. I know you are in a better place without pain or suffering. You will inspire me to work harder to kill this disease and I look forward to seeing you in heaven. God Bless
Steve Royston wrote: Alicia, I count myself as one of the lucky ones to have known you, your talent and indomitable sprit was perfectly matched by kindness, understanding and a wonderful sense of fun and the driest of humours that still brings a me a smile, you so often brought us all together and got each and every one of us creating, you are great at doing that and you will be greatly missed by all your ABB colleagues from around the world, you are an inspiration!
Luis Duran Wrote: Alicia, more than a colleague, more than a friend, so many memories and so alive! so many experiences that I had the privilege to enjoy with her! the fun, the hard work, the humanity, the experience, so much support, so much guidance so much I learned, so much to share! I wouldn't be who I am without having her brightness guiding me for the years we worked together. She is family to me, another sister gone but always with me! and she is and will remain very much alive in me. God bless her!

Action photo of Sam and Alicia at ABB Customer World. Alicia was my mentor and loving friend and she will be deeply missed.
Oh my friend. We had such fun times together starting when they started bussing kids from North Kingsville to Lincoln Elementary in the fourth grade. We had crazy plans, misadventures and lots of laughter. From roller skating to chorus, theater, science club camping trips, county fairs, road trips to the mall and everything in between (and let's not forget that time when we took your dad's motorcycle and ditched it in the woods in junior high - boy were we in trouble), I grew up to be a better person because of you. And you fit right in as another sister in my family, another daughter to my parents. While we may have lost touch in the years since, you were always in my heart. Fly high with the angels, my friend. My mom's up there ready to welcome you.
My goodness, I just found out about this... how very sad. Even though I worked in a different ABB business than Alicia, I always seemed to bump into her during my travels over the years - from the early days in Wickliffe OH, to later at many ABB Automation Worlds and other events around the world. Alicia was great fun and always had an opinion share :-) I was continually impressed how she adapted her career over the years at ABB to take on new roles and seek out new opportunties. She will be greatly missed by her colleagues, my thoughts and prayers go out to John and her family.
