Alice's obituary
Alice was born September 16, 1932 in Glössbo, Sweden to Carl Gustav and Gerda Ekström. She was the second of three children. Alice emigrated to the United States in 1953. She learned the English language through reading newspapers and working as an au pair in Chicago, IL. Soon after, she found her way to Southern California, where she met and married the love of her life, JG Drymon, and eventually settled in Livermore, CA, where she spent the next 38 years. She lived in Tracy, CA for the next 18 years before moving with her daughter, Linda, to Oakley, CA.
Alice is survived by her children, David (Janice), Connie (Tom), and Linda (Emigdio), her grandchildren, David Jr., Jenny, Katy, and Rachel, and her great-grandchildren, John, Kenzie, Tommy, Jaidyn, and Lola.
Alice was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many and was known for her strength and sense of humor. She will be missed dearly by those who knew her.
At her request, Alice will be interred with her husband, JG, at the Golden Gate National Cemetary.
