Alice L. Severance

With deep love and sadness, the family of Alice Severance announces her peaceful passing on October 4, 2025, at the age of 97. Her life reminds us to cherish every moment and live life to the fullest, just as she did.

Born on November 15, 1927, in Liberty Center, Ohio, Alice lived an extraordinary life devoted to her family and the simple pleasures that brought her joy — a spirit that will continue to uplift her loved ones.

In 1987, Alice and her husband, Glenn M. Severance, embarked on a new adventure to Naples, Florida, where they embraced the sunshine and palm trees together. Alice was a woman of great strength, with a contagious laugh and a warmth that touched everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glenn M. Severance, and her dear daughter, Sheri McAlear (Severance). Her legacy lives on through her loving children, Patricia Brown (Severance) and Glenn Severance II, as well as her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will forever carry her love in their hearts.

Though she is no longer with us, Alice’s legacy of love, kindness, and faith will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her — encouraging us to live fully and carry her spirit forward.
