I met Allie when she worked at the wine spectator. I worked next door and she would zip into the parking lot in her MGB. Her license plate said AOK2BME and that says so much about her warm positive attitude.

Meeting Alice and Ray in Florida several years ago was truly a blessing! Alice would light up the room with her presence. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for you. Her positive attitude shined through when speaking about anyone. She always saw the best in everyone.
Her focus in life was loving her husband, her daughters, and her grandchildren. They were her everything. Her heart was happy, full of joy and pride for all of them.
So lucky we all are to have known Alice…to call her wife, mother, Nana, sister, and friend.
I miss my friend.

Alice, a beautiful, warm gal with a twinkle in her eye. Always a fun and funny comment to cheer up the day. You are truly missed.

Alice was a joy to know! She was thoughtful, considerate, kind, and a true friend. I will remember our “exercise” time at the pool. We did exercise some but managed to share love of family, politics, values, growing up experiences, and single life experiences during our chats. We really got to know each other better through those conversations.
We shared small gatherings with neighbors, too, laughing a lot as we all recalled our younger days. We thought we had lots more time together to become even better friends.
I will miss Alice but know she is at peace. Going forward I will remember Alice for her beautiful smile, kindness towards others, and her love of family. (She spoke so often about Mandy and Rachel. I could just feel the love she had for them.)

Alice- what a Light in this world! I was just getting to know her as a neighbor at Windward Bay. She was exceptionally warm in smile and spirit- the few times we got together in group settings we discussed the importance of kindness, even if someone was being unkind. Her belief in the Goodness of others was unshakable. I admired that greatly, and wanted more time to get to know her & Ray. While this 'want' will go unfulfilled w/ Alice- it lives on in her adoring husband and lovely family. Although brief, Alice will be a part of my efforts to see and bring out the best in others. I will always remember her sweet spirit.

Thank You Alice💛

The world needs more people like Alice. EVERY time I ever met or talked with Alice, She had nothing but kind words to share. (truly exceptional) We should all carry forward all the happy memories from Alice's life. That is what I believe she would want. We are blessed to have known her.
