Alice's obituary
Alice Arlene Morrone, 86, of Aliso Viejo, CA, born November 8, 1936, in New Bedford, MA, left this world peacefully on April 5, 2023.
Alice was preceded in death by her son, Michael. She is survived by her loving children Pam Morrone, Kerry (Lisa) Morrone, Beth (Dan) Smith, and John Morrone, as well as four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, eldest sister Amy McConnell, nephews, and nieces.
While raising her family as a devoted mother, Alice also cared for others as a Registered Nurse for 38 years in hospital, private practice, and hospice settings. With a passion to make a difference, Alice volunteered for numerous organizations over the years, most recently at Mercy Warehouse in Laguna Niguel. With faith as her foundation, Alice was a devout parishioner of numerous Catholic churches throughout her lifetime, most recently Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
Alice lived her life with great purpose to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace, awakening each day seeking ways to make a positive impact in this world. Her ambition and boundless energy to spread love and joy through selfless acts left an indelible impression on the many whose lives she touched, inspiring them to do the same; this is Alice’s greatest legacy.
Services: A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 6, 12:30 p.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 27231 Aliso Viejo Parkway, Aliso Viejo, CA, immediately followed by a Celebration of Life in the church’s adjacent meeting hall.
