Visiting Ecuador for Jim's 70th birthday. — with Natalia Hallo
Rest in Peace and Love...May your next life's journey be a wondrous and joy filled one ❤...🙏🏽🪶🦅
I first met Sally when she came to Regina as an out of the province crit for a master students graduation. I loved her skill presenting; softness but hitting the hard core. Her work was very different from mine but I wanted to study with her so I moved from U of R to  ECCAD to do it.

Dear Sallys family

I am saddened by this news but know that Sally had a most wonderful life. I am honoured to have known her. I have always had  great respect and fondness for Sally.  It’s a loss for our art world. Condolences to Sallys family and to ourselves too.

Love

Mary Ann

Condolences from Haida Gwaii. We shall always remember the time we shared exploring Gwaii Haanas with Sally and Betty Black ( in spirit) She was a trooper who loved to wear odd socks, much ahead of her time.  A kind and gentle soul with a twinkle in her eye...RIP

I am so sad to hear of Sally's passing. I was a mature student of Sally's at ECAID back in the early nineties. She was the most encouraging and positive influence to  me  not only her art knowledge but her attitude to life, living and helping us students achieve our best.  So cheerful and fun, and supportive.  I am ever grateful .  Rest in peace dear Sally!
My condolences. I am so glad to have had the opportunity to study under Sally. She was am amazing women!!!
My condolences to Katy and Dan. We were neighbours for a few years, Dan and I continued a friendship after that. Sally was an amazing artist but an even better mom. This was the 70s and she was different from the usual moms. She was very into talking to children like they were real humans. She was very kind and loving. Over the years I would visit the neighborhood and often run into her out on walks. She continued to be a very special person.

Sally and I had many good times in Underwood and Vancouver.  I will miss our conversations.  God Bless you and the grandkids!  Love,  Aunt Linda

I’ve known Sally a long time, dating to when she was my next door neighbor. My husband Jo even installed her oven. We have had many a glass of wine together, and I will miss her at my birthday party. It is sad for me to lose such a dear friend.

We will remember Sally's style, sophistication and wonderful sense of humour. Sending sympathies to Katy and family, with love,

RIP,  Sally.  I have many memories of the time when we were colleagues at ECUAD.  Those will live on...
Sally encouraged this middle-aged potter to become a full-time ECIAD student in 1991. I am forever grateful Sally. Rest in Peace.
Sally was a wonderfully generous person.  She will be greatly missed by so many, especially by  us clay folks.
