My Dearest Aunt Alice was a co- raiser of me along with my parents and extended family. Her always warm , accepting, non-judgmental demeanor made me feel safe and loved. How great the hole is in my heart, but knowing she is in the loving hands of God, with no worries or suffering gives great comfort. The fun times were numerous, taco Saturday nights, trips to the Big Bear cabin being built, joys of hanging out with the boys and Nancy, family gatherings in the family room, a visit to Maui, birthday celebrations, and later visits over a meal and coffee while also having time to interact with her beloved grandson, Jon. Oh such rich memories I will treasure forever.
My love and prayers to her family.

Sympathy to family and friends. We will miss Aunt Alice for her smiles and gentleness. She was strength and comfort.

As a niece in Iowa, my main way of staying in touch with Aunt Alice was through marvelous phone conversations which I so enjoyed. Her sharp mind, sense of humor, and deep compassion made her such a special person. We will all miss her so much!
In one of our recent conversations, she related how she took the train from Nebraska to California as a young woman because she wanted to live in a city. I admire her courage.
