Alice Ann Flackus received the gift of eternal life on October 24, 2025, at the age of 72, in Ocala Florida.

Alice had a love for life, finding joy in simple pleasures. Playing board games or card games with family brought laughter and lasting memories. She spent hours making crafts by hand. From hook rugs to jeweled paintings and puzzles. She loved gifting them to family and friends as it brought her love into everyone's heart. She loved cooking and animals.

One of Alice's most endearing qualities was her sense of humor. She was always quick to laugh and had a special gift for lightening even the heaviest moments with wit and warmth. Her strength and perseverance in the face of life's challenges was so inspiring. Her sweet laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Above all, Alice's open and generous heart was her most remarkable attribute. There was not a person she met where she didn't take a moment to talk to them, interested in who they were and how they were doing. Her generosity to family, friends and strangers alike was testament to the deep kindness she carried in her heart.

Alice was the best big sister, affectionately calling us “kiddo” or “kid.” Alice was a devoted mother to her daughter, Abby – the center of her world. Their bond was a beautiful and unbreakable testament to unconditional love.

Alice will be forever missed by her beloved daughter Abby; her siblings April (Bob) Onesto, Angel (Steve) Mercier, Andra Baeten, Earl Flackus, Alana (Jim) Wonneberger. Alice was a loving aunt to many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephew. She is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Erma Flackus.

May Alice rest in eternal peace, free from pain, and may her memory continue to bring comfort, love, and a smile to all who knew her.
