Shelly's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected death of our beloved, Alice Michelle Elder. She was better known as Shelly to everybody that knew her. Shelly was born to Allen & Faye O'Berry in St.Cloud, FL on October 15, 1971 and she passed on December 4, 2022 in Orlando, FL with her loved ones by her side. Shelly went to school in Orlando where she met Jay Jackson at the age of 16. Shelly & Jay were married in Daytona Beach and over the next few years they welcomed two beautiful daughters, Courtney and Katie. Many years passed as she was raising her children & enjoying time with her friends and family. After 20 years Shelly & Jay decided to part ways and she began a new chapter of her life. She experienced the joys of being a grandmother, although she would be called Mimi and nothing made her happier than spending time with her grandbabies, Justin and Alyssa. While down south visiting them she met who would become the love of her life and doting husband, Brian. At last she became Shelly Elder in a celebration of love that was unique and fun, just like Shelly was. She moved to Kenansville to be closer to family after her father's passing where she loved to spend her days cutting up with her Uncle Paul & her Mama and spent her evenings with her husband and Best friend, Brian. Shelly loved sour candy, she loved music and concerts but pickle flavored anything was her favorite.

She was feisty & fun, mischievous & loud & her laugh will echo through the hearts of all that loved her. Praise God Shelly was saved by the blood of Jesus and we have the guarantee that we will be with her again when we get to heaven.
