Alice Elaine Carpenter, age 78, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2025 after a long battle of brain cancer. She was born August 23, 1946, in Winslow Arizona to R.C. Mashburn jr. and Ellen Alice Burnau. She was the oldest child of 3 siblings, sister Jacqueline Taylor and brother David Mashburn. She was a graduate of Barstow High School Riffians class of 1964. She Married Patrick Petco, had a loving daughter Virginia Petco. Alice began working for County of San Bernardino till retirement in 2011, Alice served the people of the county for over 30yrs. Alice has lived in Barstow since childhood and a true Barstonian till the end. She is survived by Aubrey Mendoza, Megan Arcentales, Mitchell Jones, Shelby Jones, Kristal Reynolds, Brian Reynolds, Dany Reynolds, and many Great Grandchildren.
