Even in the brief moments our paths crossed, the depth of Ali’s kindness was evident. The weight of this loss is profound, and it speaks volumes of the indelible mark he left on so many hearts. May we always remember the warmth and kindness he shared with us.

Ali was a remarkable person, full of intelligence and zest for life. His love for hiking and the joy he found in his Seattle friendships was evident. Though I had known Ali for just three months, his kindness and warmth were immediately apparent; his departure leaves a painful void in his friends' circle. I'm really at a loss for words but my heart goes out to Ali's family and friends. In this difficult time, we all should remember that his spirit and the memories he created will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration. He was an admirable guy and he will be dearly missed.
