Ray was born in Santa Monica California on November the 8th 1955. He found a love for the ocean and surfing at a very young age, and still had his surfboard until his passing. Ray loved riding his Harley and took several road trips with his cousins. At the age of 17 Ray joined the Marine Corp. He proudly served his country and continued to be proud to be a Marine. Ray moved his young family to Tucson, AZ after his service with the Marines had completed. He eventually moved to Prescott Arizona to escape the dry desert heat. Ray worked at Pima & Duval mines for Goodyear tires. After that he went on the road at a owner operator semi trucking for United Vanlines. Ray retired from Vastco Inc. Hauling heavy equipment all over AZ and other states as well. Ray had a great love for God and family. He and his wife Judy went to Africa on a missions with their church. He told us that was an amazing and humble trip and will never forget the people they met. Ray loved everyone of his kid's. Then came Grandchildren and his world was forever changed. They were his pride and joy. Our heart's are broken that you left too soon. We know you are having the time of your life with all of our loved ones that have gone on before us. Rest in peace brother until we meet again. Semper FI
