• My nephew Alfred (Lito) had a very bright and loving heart.  He was strong spirited and a fighter.  He loved and enjoyed his family and loved people.  I want to thank God for blessing our family with Alfred (Lito). I am sadden that he is not with us, but I know he is home now,  healed and reunited with his  brother Juan Carlos.  I love you Lito, I will miss you for now... until we meet again.

Alfredo was the first  nephew of the Balderrama family.  we quickly renamed him Lito.  He added so much new life to the family, as he was the focus on many celebrations of birthdays and holidays, especially Christmas.  everyone of us loved him dearly. we all wanted to give him the funniest toys.  Lito and his younger cousin Valeria would always argue about how to pronounce words, but we could never decide who was more correct.  we all had many laughs and countless joys.

as Lito grew up to a solid 6 ft man, we never thought of changing his nickname, because to us he will always be Lito, the young boy with a smile, and funny comments.  I laughed when I heard he had called his specialist at the hospital, Dr. knucklebrain.

we are all missing Lito as we grieve his passing, but he will always be with us in our hearts with all the memories and joys he brought us.
