Born on April 23,1940 in Egypt, PA, Alfred grew up in Allentown, PA, where he quickly became known for his athleticism in both football and wrestling. Following graduation from Allen High School in 1958, Alfred attended the United States Military Academy at West Point and was a proud member of the “CanDo” class of 1962. He completed two tours …
