🙏Lord I pray that you comfort all of the family and friends while they grieve. I ask in the name of Jesus Christ that you surround them with the Holy Spirit that he may work in their lives and bring them closer to you. In Jesus name Amen.

My deepest condolences to my Aunt Barbara, his children and all of the member's of my Tio Alfonso's family. I first met Tio Alfonso when I was born, in San Francisco, 1959. He helped my father, Fernando, carry my mother, Lilliam, down a few flights of stairs, in a chair when she had gone into labor with me. My mama always loved him for that and retold the story many times. He was a character! Fun and boisterous and told great jokes! My favorite was the ONE time he almost admitted to a mistake! He said, " I thought I had made a mistake, but I was wrong!" I remember the countless trips our families took together, as a child. Blackberry Farm, Rio Nido and many great times, spent with him and my dad, uncle's, auntie's, and all my cousins at the family gatherings; with him and my Aunt Barbara, and visiting each others homes over the year's, for holiday's, birthdays, special occasions or no particular reason at all, just to be together.  It was always about family.  I will remember him fondly and with respect.

May you rest in peace, Tio Alfonso. ~ Rosa Inez

RIP Alfonso, you lived a great life and were lucky enough to be married to Barbra.  You were so kind to me when I was young.  I know you are in a better place now with no pain.
