Alfonso Gómez falleció el viernes 1 de Marzo de 2024. Estaba rodeado de su amada familia. Le sobreviven su esposa María y sus dos hijas, María Elena y Santa. El legado que dejó fueron sus ocho nietos y seis bisnietos. Era una figura muy conocida en la Parroquia Nuestra Señora del Rosario cantando para el coro durante la misa en español de la tarde. Llegó a Estados Unidos sin nada más que su familia y el impulso para triunfar. Estableció un exitoso negocio de tapicería de automóviles en la ciudad de Paramount. Tenía una profunda pasión por la música y por tocar la guitarra, que transmitió a su familia. Realmente extrañaremos su amor por su familia y amigos.

Alfonso Gomez passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024. He was surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife Maria and two daughters, Maria Elena and Santa. His legacy he left behind were his eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was a very well known figure at Our Lady of The Rosary Parish singing for the choir during the afternoon Spanish mass. He came to the states with nothing, but his family and the drive to succeed. He established a successful auto upholstery business in the city of Paramount. He had a deep passion for music and playing the guitar which he handed down to his family. His love for his family and friends will truly be missed.
