Alexis's obituary

Alexis M. Morehead, fondly known as Allie departed this world too soon on January 25, 2024 after a hard, fought battle with breast cancer.  Born on April 4, 1976, Alexis lived a rich and vibrant life, loved and remembered by many.

Alexis was a loving and devoted family member, survived by her husband, Donald Morehead, who she married in the year 2005, and their cherished daughters Ellie and Clara Morehead. Alexis was also survived by her father, Jeffrey Murnane, Stepmother Jennie Murnane, her brother, Harold Murnane and many other friends and family. She was predeceased by her loving mother, Delia Ketrow and brother Jeffrey Murnane II. 

Alexis graduated with honors from hempstead high school, in Hempstead New York in 1995. She went on to become a flight attendant with United Airlines, where she met her beloved husband, and life partner, Donald.  She was a proud mother, an accomplishment she held dearly, and gave birth to beautiful twin girls in 2014.

Alexis was a beacon of love, care, and warmth. She was also known for her kindness and unique sense of humour. Among her many interests, she had a love of the outdoors, gardening, camping, and crafting, which brought her immense joy and satisfaction. 

A private luncheon in honor of Alexis will held on February 3, 2024, at 12:30PM to celebrate her life.  a link will be provided to family  members only whose attendance is requested.  Alexis's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She was a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, and sister, leaving a legacy of love, warmth, and kindness. Her spirit will forever be remembered and cherished.
