Happy heavenly birthday friend 💖

I only learned about this tragedy yesterday, and I still can’t come to terms with it. I met Lex through Instagram when she commissioned a ring with a painting of her husband’s eye four years ago, and over time, we became friends.
Lex loved her family, and every piece of jewelry we designed was in their honor. The last piece I was working on was a ring with a violet for the little Violet. She was so excited about the idea of wearing it and holding her little one in her arms that I regret not being able to finish it quickly enough for that to happen. I still can’t believe that, along with her, little Violet, her sister Scarlett, and even her husband were taken away.
I wish the best for little Grant, and I send my condolences to her family and everyone who loved her.

Sweet Grant, I only knew your Mama briefly through Instagram, she had a fantastic eye for beautiful jewelry and I wish cherish the pieces I bought from her. More than that, though, she was so kind, funny, and sweet. Even though I barely knew her, I knew of her IMMENSE love for you and your sisters!! She cherished being able to breastfeed you, she would often post photos of your sweet toddler hands with captions indicating how very much she loved you. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss, sweet boy. I know I’m only a stranger, but I wanted to be yet another testament to the kind, funny, loving person your Mama was. She loved being your Mom more than anything else in this world, and I know she will find whatever way is possible to be near you, guide you, and love you for the rest of your life.

I met Lex through IG. I didn't know her super well, but with even just my limited conversations with her, I could see the light and positivity exuding from her. How rare to meet a person of such quality, even more so one who is able to impart such an aura not just in person, but online as well. The world is much worse off without her brightness in it. I'm sure the same can be said about her husband and two beloved daughters. Please accept my deepest condolences to the entire family and her son. I'm truly sorry for such a monumental loss.

I’m so thankful the Lord lead us to meet a few years ago in our little IG jewelry community. My dearest and sweetest friend, I will miss you so so much - your genuine kindness, humor, our late night chats, our mom venting moments, your endless support and knowledge in jewelry, your beautiful creativity and endless eye for colors, your love for whimsical and fairy things. I’ll miss all your stories about Scarlett and Grant. Scarlett was such an amazing girl, so grown for her age, and absolutely so sweet and a wonderful big sister! We were so close because we were alike in so many ways. I love you and you will forever have a place in my heart. We said we will meet up one day, so until that day, my dear friend. ❤️

I came in contact with Alexandra (Lex) back in 2021 on Instagram. We talked about all different topics but our connection was gems and jewelry. Last time we talked she was about to give birth to her baby and she was so excited about the future. She was always kind and loving. I am completely shocked and heartbroken about the news. Sending love and my deepest condolences to your family during these difficult times. May she rest in peace sweet friend. 💐🕊️🤍
