It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of our Brother, Alexander "Alex" Tartera Raul. We wish for him everlasting life and well-deserved peace as a member of the Chapter Eternal of Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity.

I am shocked and deeply saddened by the news of Alex's passing. He was an extraordinary person, both incredibly intelligent and genuinely kind-hearted. Alex's impact on both my career and my life has been profound. Early in my career, while dealing with a serious health condition, Alex offered me a chance to work at Rackner. His willingness to provide flexible work arrangements during that challenging time was incredibly meaningful and reflected his deep empathy and understanding. Alex, whom I greatly admired and respected, was not just a leader but a mentor. I will never forget working with him in the basement of the home office in Bethesda, where he led by example being a model of hard work and dedication. His ability to inspire and uplift those around him will always stay with me. Even after leaving the company, he continued to be a mentor, willing to offer advice when I reached out. He will be profoundly missed. Rest in peace, Alex.

Some of us at Harmonia never met Alex but this who did had nothing but amazing things to say about him. Reading his obituary was heart-wrenching - a beautiful life cut way too short. We are truly sorry and our thoughts and prayers are with Katherine, Cora and Alex's entire family during this incredibly tough time.

Life is interesting in that the loss of a person you've never met in person but with whom you worked "virtually" could effect your life so profoundly. Much like a pebble causing ripples in the pond, Alex unknowingly impacted many people with his enthusiasm, dedication, knowledge, and overall kindness. Please accept my condolences and know that he will also be remembered by those of us who only briefly knew him.

I am deeply saddened by the news of Alex's passing. During our work together on several proposals, I was continually impressed by his energy, drive, and dedication to growing Rackner. I will miss collaborating with him and will always be grateful for the opportunity to have known him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and the entire Rackner team during this difficult time.
