Alexander Charles Lawhon III, age 82, of Maryville, Tennessee—known to many simply as “Alex”—passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026, following a courageous battle with leukemia.
Born on September 21, 1943, in Kansas City, Missouri, Alexander lived a life marked by service, ingenuity, and dedication to his family. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era, including time stationed in Greenland. Following his military service, …
