Alexander's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Alexander "Our Superman Jojo" Doom, a beloved son, brother, and cherished friend, who was born on July 28, 1997. Known by many as "Our Superman Jojo," Alexander's indomitable spirit shone brightly, and he was uniquely himself in every aspect of his radiant life.
Survived by his loving mother, Tamera Johnson, and his devoted father, Randy Doom, Alexander leaves behind a constellation of memories. He also leaves his brother, Andrew Doom, and while his brother Matthew Doom preceded him in passing, their bond remains unbroken.
Alexander was a warrior. Despite the challenges he faced daily, he remained steadfastly brave and optimistic. His willingness to battle against his hardships, all while maintaining a beautiful smile, made him a beacon of light for all who knew him.
A true lover of literature, Alexander found solace in books such as "I love you up to the moon and back" and the whimsical tales of Dr. Seuss. His eclectic taste in music ranged from "Trouble Maker," "Bling Bling," and "Down by the River" to the Christian pop of Toby Mac. He was particularly fond of Toby Mac's songs "Everything," "Help is on the way," and "I need you," along with many other tunes like Phantom of the Opera.
He was enamored with the Minions and their comedic antics, and he found joy in watching Blues Clues, Sesame Street, and the colorful characters of these beloved shows. His love for art was expansive, enamored with the Korean pop group Ateez, and Ikon, and he also enjoyed diverse music from Christian to funk, to opera, and even heavy metal. Alexander loved live music, having seen The Lion King and Phantom of the Opera in person. He had the pleasure of meeting Christian music artists like Big Daddy Weave, Jordan Feliz, and Plumb.
Beyond his love for music and art, Alexander was a playful spirit, often engaging in games of peek-a-boo and lovingly teasing others. His favorite shows were a wide array, including Blues Clues, Bluey, Little Einstein, Barney, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Curious George, the Wiggles, Bear in the big blue house, and Charlotte's Web. He found serenity in music and loved to pretend to be a 'Maestro' conducting symphonies.
Alexander enjoyed recreational activities ranging from swimming and jacuzzi sessions to playing in the park. He found joy in nature - listening to the sounds of ducks and trains. He loved long car rides, with the wind in his hair and music playing loudly, laughing heartily at every bump on the road.
Among Alexander's most cherished memories was his Make A Wish trip to Disneyland. Meeting all the characters, riding the Indiana Jones rollercoaster, and even starring in the Darth Vader show were highlights of a day that Alexander said was his dream come true. He also had a wonderful time at Universal Studios and enjoyed his first visit to the beach. These moments of joy and excitement, coupled with his strength and resilience, are the legacy Alexander leaves behind.
Alexander "Our Superman Jojo" Doom will be deeply missed by his loved ones. His life, though short-lived, was filled with laughter, love, and strength. May his warrior spirit continue to inspire us and his memory forever warm our hearts.
