Alex's obituary

Alex Menhart, a devoted husband, proud veteran, and fervent man of faith, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025. Born in the year of 1956, he was a talkative soul with an infectious energy that put those around him at ease. The profound love he carried for his wife, Rosa Menhart, was evident to all who knew them, and his devotion to her remained unwavering throughout their journey together.

In his commitment to selfless service, Alex wore the military uniform with pride and honor. His bravery and dedication in this capacity were a testament to his indomitable spirit. His experiences shaped his outlook, bringing a sense of adventure and curiosity into his life. Among his considerable achievements, Alex had embarked on pilgrimages to the holy cities of Fatima, Lourdes, Mexico City, and the Vatican in Rome.

Alex's personality truly shone through his devotion to the church and his unyielding faith. His life and teachings were steeped in prayer and a devoted love of Mary. As he often encouraged, the strength of prayer could conquer any hardship and the guidance of Mary was a comforting presence in times of uncertainty. Alex's legacy of prayer and love for the church will be remembered by all who were blessed to know him.

His departure leaves an undeniable void, but his memories and legacy continue to inspire and guide those left behind. A funeral service to honor Alex's memory will be held on January 21, 2025, at 9:00am at Christ the King Catholic Church. The gathering will be a testament to a life well-lived, an embodiment of devotion, service, and love. As we bid farewell to Alex, let us remember his teachings and incorporate his wisdom into our lives.

In memory of Alex Menhart— a loving husband, a dedicated serviceman, a tireless pilgrim, and a devout man of faith. His spirit lives on in the prayers he uttered and the love he shared. His legacy will forever be a beacon, guiding us toward kindness, love, and unwavering faith.
