Alex, I remember your very first road trip as you, your mom and I drove out to setup housekeeping in CO. Your dad would be following later when things were settled in MN. I watched you each day as mom started her new job. I just couldn’t put you in your crib, so you laid on my chest and slept so peacefully as I wrapped you in my arms. Find that same peace my love,  wrapped in the arms of God! I know you are in a place of joy and happiness! 

Alex, you are so very loved and missed every minute of every day! Until I can wrap you in my arms once again, save me a spot!

We are so saddened by the loss of your beautiful Alex. Such a strong willed kid from the get-go! I know how proud you are of all he accomplished in his short time here on earth and am so sorry that you couldn't have just one more day together.  We all miss him so much.
