Alex Sanchez unexpectedly passed away on May 28th, 2023. He was 50 years old.

Alex had a larger than life personality and gathered friends wherever he went. Whether it was greeting a loved one with a crushing hug or chatting it up with the store clerk at check out, Alex always made everyone feel special and loved. His cheerfulness, sense of humor and talent as a master storyteller made him a cherished friend.

He was a lifelong Giants fan and intensely loyal to Bay Area sports teams. He dazzled people with his impeccable memory, easily recalling dates, statistics and movie quotes in conversation. He kept his youthful and fun spirit alive by maintaining his love for superheroes and LEGOs into adulthood.

More than anything, Alex was a family man. He took his role as a husband, father, uncle and brother the most seriously. His biggest joy was spending time with his family.
