Aleida Greta Saenz, of Sarasota Florida, age 92, much beloved mother, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully Sunday April 23rd with family by her side.

Aleida was born June 11, 1930 in Habana Cuba to Ruben and Laura (Garcia) Lopez-Miranda.

She was married to Pedro E. Saenz (deceased).

Aleida attended Dominicas Americanas high school and later Florida international University.

She was deeply involved in the Catholic Church and taught catechism in Cuba. Later she became a lay minister in Miami.

She worked for the Dade County School Board, accounts payable, for over 30 years.

She loved piano, ballet, drawing and chocolate! She always helped others.

Preceded in death by her sister Louisiana, Aleida is survived by her 3 children; Aleida M. Saenz, Ana Warren(Floyd) , Pedro Saenz (Viviana). Also, goddaughter/niece Laura Gaston, and 6 other nieces and nephews, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.

She will laid to rest at our Lady of Mercy Cemetery July 14 in Doral, Florida following a mass in the chapel.

She will be greatly missed but lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
