I met Aldo in high school while being in cross country. He was a very outgoing and kind person. I remember the first time I met him, he came up to us, carrying a water jug, and asked us to sign it for him. He was going around to all the high schools and getting all the signatures he could. From there we would keep in touch and hang out during our XC and track meet ups. Although we lost contact after freshman year of college, we followed each other on social media and saw the impact he was making.
The time I did know Aldo, I know that he was a great person.

Although Aldo was in my life for a short period, he was a blessing and a wonderful friend. One of the most knowledgeable, talented, and motivated people I knew. He was always supportive of everything I did and was willing to give me a listening ear. He loved sharing stories of his family, and how much he enjoyed driving home to Corcoran and going on long road trips to Arizona to see extended family. He told me about his goals dreams and achievements. One of my favorite memories with him was watching Hocus Pocus in theatres during Halloween. Prayers to his family and may he forever rest in peace <3

Sending my condolences. Although I only interacted with Aldo a handful of times during his time in the Capitol, his passion for valley communities was truly admirable. Rest in peace Aldo.

Aldo was a very inspiring mentor to me during my undergrad at Cal. He was pivotal in demonstrating how to create change through public service. He is the primary reason I decided to minor in public policy. If not for Aldo I would not have been able to secure food and housing through employment as an RA. I will never forget our conversations in the dining hall and his unmatched energy when it came to teaching and having fun with hermanos in HU. I remember the last conversation we had. I was a sophomore and he was a senior graduating. He made sure to enlighten me on what I could do to make the most of my final years at Cal. With smiles we congratulated each other on our journeys. I wished him luck as he completed his final exams and headed toward graduation and a career in public service. Aldo was truly a teacher among students. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones may he rest in peace. ❤️

During our year as roommates, we may have had our share of disagreements when it came to cleaning. But I never once doubted the meteoric trajectory of your career. You shared with me your plans to make it big in California politics and I genuinely believed you. It was an honor to have met and gotten to know you in the unique way I did. Thank you
