Garcia Family my sincere condolences. Loosing a loved one is never easy and when a life is cut short it makes it more difficult to deal with death. Death is an enemy to us all, taking away our most beloved ones. In John 11:11 death is compared to a peaceful sleep and just like we all awaken from sleeping, Jehovah God will wake Chris up from death. Acts 24:15 Jehovah God offers us the hope of the resurrection. May this hope help you endure until you see Aldo again.
I met Aldo at Berkeley and barely kept in touch, but as I followed his career, I was impressed and hopeful to see him carry on a righteous mission to improve the world. I was proud to call him a fellow Californian and am deeply saddened to learn of his passing. To his family, I am so sorry.

We are here to support you during this difficult time.

Aldo left a big impression when I first met him at a welcome reception for his Fellows cohort. He was humble and happily shared his dreams of taking his experience back to his community.

I’ll never forget Aldo’s kindness and eagerness to be involved in the Latino community in the Capital  and uplift his community. May his dreams and impact on all of us live on!

I met Aldo in my role as a public health educator for Kings County Health Dept. I was involved with several community groups including Kings County Latino Roundtable in which I'm still involved in as was Aldo. Latino Roundtable was founded by Raymond Lerma, also an incredible community leader from Corcoran and mentor to Aldo. He was an outstanding young leader
I’ve known Aldo for our entire journey at Cal, and he has always been a pillar of light and support for our community. My heart is so heavy with the loss of such an amazing friend and human being. From celebrating his birthday and other occasions in Rochdale/Fenwick, to stressed filled finals week, and even community engagement events. Aldo was always there for me and everyone he loved. My love for you is eternal hermano!❤️ We will meet again in another life, rest in peace Aldo🕊️❤️
Always loved catching up with Aldo at Berkeley. He was always so motivated to help the community both on campus and after we graduated.

My sincerest condolences for Aldo’s passing. I had briefly known Aldo during our time at UC Berkeley together, as we both graduated the same year from the political science department, and then had the wonderful opportunity to get to know him as coworkers in Assemblymember Wilson’s Office for over a year. It was evident that he was going to go far, and I’m going to miss rooting for him in all his life endeavors.

In his send off message to us as he departed from our office back in November 2023, he captioned it “Farewell,” going on to say:

“Good afternoon district office staff,

I am writing to say farewell and thank you for being part of my first year in the legislature. Unfortunately, my time with Team Wilson has come to an end with the fellowship program. It makes me happy knowing that I will forever be a part of Team Wilson! It has been nothing short of a pleasure getting to know dedicated individuals who help carry out the Assemblywoman’s goals and vision for the district. All of you are very talented and it has been great to see the importance that district offices have firsthand. I am very grateful for our time together as a team. If there is anything I can do for any of you please never hesitate to reach out. I’m happy to share that I will be a legislative aide with Assemblymember Juan Carrillo working for the people of AD 39. Please take care and once again thank you!”

Thank you for everything and farewell, Aldo. We’re all missing you dearly.

I was very lucky to have Aldo as my RA during my freshman year at Cal. He was always so kind and understanding, and despite COVID cutting our time in unit 1 short, we’ve made so many memories. Rest in Peace Aldo ❤️
My condolences to Aldo's family. I’ll always remember our FaceTime call the day you bought/set up your practice drum set. You had many musical talents, amazing taste en música, passionate about policy work, and overall an amazing friend. I’ll miss you!
I was deeply saddened to learn of Aldo's passing ... I had met him a few times in Asm Carrillo's office. He was professional, thoughtful, and kind. I sensed he had a bright future in this work -- taken far too soon. I'm so very sorry for this unimaginable loss.

Although I didn’t know Aldo better than any other acquaintance during our time at Cal, his kind heart and fierce dedication to his community and family were always clear. It was inspiring to watch him find such fast success in the state legislature postgrad, and I have no doubt that our world is better for his having been here.

Prayers and love to all who know and love Aldo as they mourn this immense loss, especially his family🤍🕊️

I met Aldo in my first week at UC Berkeley, and I’m so grateful to have been able to know him. Aldo was always a pillar of his community. A humble, genuine guy I saw work tirelessly to get to where he was, and one of those people you just couldn’t help but root for. A man with big dreams to build a better world starting those around him and a leader with limitless potential – all gone far, far too soon. The world lost a bright light this week and I couldn’t be more at a loss. Rest easy and fly high my friend. We’ll always remember you for the good you inspired in the rest of us. My condolences to the Garcia family for the loss of such a wonderful soul — i can’t even begin to imagine what you are going through, but I wishing you all the strength and courage to endure through a moment like this ❤️
