I first met Grandma Bina in my junior year of high school, when I became Nic's girlfriend. He let me know that he wanted to meet his grandma and I was very excited but also nervous at the time. I remember when I first came into the house she was on the big red couch in front of the fireplace. I remember her smile to this day and the way she said "Hi Mija". I felt at times like Grandma Bina was my own grandma, with how comforting and kind she was to me. I looked forward to seeing her at every family function. One of my favorite memories is waking up in the morning and drinking coffee across from her as Nic cooked us eggs, sausage and green chile. Grandma Bina's ability to make others feel welcomed, loved and laugh is something that I will always remember.

A remarkable woman with an amazing -always- lean in, delight, laughter and ready hug.  Never shied from the moment to step up to help carry a burden, or lessen a hardship. ♥️

The Tenley family has many happy memories of Grandma Bina in our lives over the many past years we have known Peter and Tina’s family.  Sending much love to the entire family from Anita, Clancy, Jack and Page.
As you know, Albina (Vina to us cousins) was the person who initiated my life direction. If she hadn't forced me to go to a nightclub where she knew her exhusband (Raul) would be there, I wouldn't be where I am today. Raul and I didn't hit it off the first time I met him at Erica's granduation but after we got there Raul and I talked about the military. He got me signed up with the Air National Guard and the rest is history. Vina also took me in right after I left Henry. I had no where to go and she didn't hesitate said I could stay with her. I owe her so much and the love I have for her will remain important to me. Love you my sweet cousin
