Albert's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Albert Walden.
After a hard-fought battle with leukemia, Al passed away peacefully at the age of 75, surrounded by his loved ones. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, and neighbour, Al had a way of making a meaningful difference in the lives of those he encountered.
He was a devoted family man, a steady presence to those who relied on him, and someone who showed his love through steadfast support and unmistakable presence. Al took great pride in helping those around him and was always willing to lend his time, his skills, and his heart. He also found great joy in the simple things he loved, especially time spent with family and the freedom of being on the open road, usually on two wheels.
In honour of his memory, in lieu of flowers or cards, we kindly ask that donations be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, or through direct blood or plasma donations as these are what allowed Al to spend his last days with family.
At this time, we ask that any messages or notes for the family be shared here. Details regarding a celebration of life will be shared once arrangements have been made.
