He is survived by Nadine (niece), Kimberly (great-niece), Melissa (great-niece), Shawn (1st cousin), Ethan (2nd cousin), Andrea (niece), Ben, Rachel (great- niece), Rob, Anna, Matthew.

Alan was quite the guy and he lived a life devoted to his family and friends. He spent the majority of his life with his partner Renee. They did everything together including playing bridge, family events, and going out and enjoying each other's company. He was at all the family events. He spent every Christmas morning with his family for breakfast which usually involved singing songs. He truly enjoyed singing karaoke at his usual spots and he made so many friends doing the thing he loved. He embraced his Jewish heritage and enjoyed many Passover and Rosh Hashanah dinners with his family.
