Albert Robert Lopez, 78, of Bradenton, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on November 11, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Born on March 5, 1947, in Newburgh, New York, Albert was the beloved son of Alfonso and Mary Lopez. He grew up in a close-knit family where faith, hard work, and love for others shaped the man he would become.

Albert lived a life marked by integrity, service, and a steadfast faith in Jesus Christ. He was known for his gentle spirit, warm smile, strong work ethic, and deep compassion for others. Albert built a successful career as a Union Electrician for over 40 years with IBEW Local 3, Perela Electric. His greatest accomplishments were found in relationships with his family, friends, and his church community.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Albert treasured time spent with his family. He led by example, teaching those around him the importance of faith, humility, hard work, and perseverance. He was an active member of Ridgebury Presbyterian Church in Slate Hill, NY, Asbury United Methodist Church in York, PA, and Bayside Community Church, Bradenton, FL. Over the years, he served faithfully as a Trustee, Church Treasurer, and a member of the hospitality team. He encouraged others to walk closely with the Lord.

Albert is survived by his loving wife, Alice J Lopez; his children, Timothy Robert Lopez, son and daughter in law Melissa Lopez and Aimee Cristen McCullough, daughter and son in law Mike McCullough; grandchildren, Christian McCullough, Grace McCullough and Parker Lopez; siblings, Stanley Nazimek, Linda Smith and Tom Lopez; and many extended family members and dear friends.

Though his passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who knew him, his legacy of love and generosity will continue to inspire all who were blessed by his life.

A celebration of Albert’s life will be held at Bayside Community Church, 15800 SR 64 E., Bradenton, FL 34212, on December 3, 2025, at 1 PM. Internment to follow at a later date at Cemetery of the Highlands in Highland Mills, NY.
