OBITUARY FOR Deacon ALBERT LEWIS, JR.

Albert Lewis, Jr. age 72 of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on March 7, 2022, in his home with his loving and caring family. Prior to his passing there was a lengthy stay at the hospital to battle Corona Virus 19.

At the request of Albert Lewis Jr, there will be no visitation, but only a graveside service to memorialize him and with full military honors. Deacon Lewis will be eulogized and officiated by longtime friend and Pastor Daryl Williams of Morning Star Church of Gloster, Louisiana.

Albert Lewis, Jr. was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on December 18, 1949. He attended Butler Elementary in Bossier, La. He later dropped to find work to help support the family. He later entered into the United States Marine Corps for a better way to help his family and achieved his GED while in the military. And, also attended SUSLA.

Albert Lewis, Jr was married to Dr. Dottie Lowe-Lewis of Shreveport. They enjoyed 30 years of blissful marriage and friendship.

Albert was a retired and disabled Vietnam veteran. He was also retired from General Electric. His hobbies were classic cars, rebuilding cars and racing cars on the weekends.

Albert Lewis, Jr is survived by his loving wife, one sister, Patricia Lewis, children, grandchildren and a host of extended family.
