What were Albert's favorite foods?

I can't answer this question, but I do have some other memories to share.  I recall how he would take my sister Jennifer and I on a sailboat ride in California when we were about five and six respectively, and play games at Hendry's Beach in Santa Barbara.

He also visited us when Jennifer and I were about that age.  One particular gift he brought was a water-propelled rocket.  He would spend this fun time with us doing this over and over.  During the last time, the rocket this time ended up landing on top of a slender tree.  Uncle Al climbed that tree and retrieved the rocket, but something went amiss as he climbed down the tree.  He fell the last few feet and broke his big toe.  Jennifer watched in amazement and declared that she didn't know that "he could fly!"  I think it was my Dad, Al's brother, who drove us to the doctor's office to fix his toe.  I remember vividly seeing his foot propped up on the dashboard of the car as Dad drove.  I was impressed that he didn't even whimper, but kept his big grin and his sense of humor!
