Obituary for Albert D. Dunmore

Albert D. Dunmore, age 83, died on March 6, 2023, in Simi Valley, California. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Teresita Dunmore; three children, Christy Leonard, Albert Jr. and Troy Dunmore. Also, Albert was predeceased by his son, Todd M. Dunmore, and his daughter, Debra Dorrell; his mother Irene Gray, his stepfather Henry Gray and his sister, Verna M. Williams. He is also survived by his nieces, Gwendolyn Edwards and Terrie Williams, and his three nephews, James, Darrell and Donnell Williams; his cousins, Reverend Marian Dunmore, Mildred Dunmore and Sharon Jones.

Albert grew up in Washington, DC, and after high school graduation, he enlisted into the United States Navy where he served for 36 years, and a proud serviceman he was. One of the greatest accomplishments of his life was being a born-again Christian and he took this achievement seriously by becoming a pastor of his church, where he had many well-loved members. He also took the time out of his busy schedule to volunteer at shelters, to feed the homeless residents and transport them to medical facilities for health purposes. Now that is real community outreach! Needless to say, everybody loved this kind, loving, unselfish son of God and he will be missed. We know that when Albert meets the lord, the Lord will say, "well done, thy good and faithful servant". Love you Albert and rest in peace!
