Albert Chris Contreras, 46, of Indianapolis, passed from this world to the next on Saturday, December 30, 2017. He was born on April 10, 1971 to Cleto and Carmen (Cortez) Contreras in Austin, Texas.

Albert loved being around his family more than anything. His ideal day would be like having thanksgiving every day. Surrounded by good food, family and friends, and a cold one in his hand. Albert was a very handy man around the house and followed in the same foot steps as his father working as a carpenter. He loved shooting pool, playing cards with the family, and watching the discovery channel. He was full of personality and spunk. If you knew him you, you knew he never stopped talking. He enjoyed having family and friends around him.

Albert was preceded in death by his father Cleto Contreras.

He is survived by his 2 sons, Albert and Nicholas Thompson, 3 daughters, Desiree Thompson, Jessica Bucks, and Helen Thompson. His siblings, Cleto Contreras, John Contreras, Claudia Contreras, Lisa Contreras, Anthony Contreras, Cruz Jainie Grider (Missy), Dionicio Contreras, and Travis Contreras.

Albert had seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He is missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Indiana Memorial Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 11 am to 2 pm, Celebration of life will be held at 2 pm.
