Albert “Casey”'s obituary
Albert “Casey” Andrews, 33, passed away on January 31, 2025, in Canyon, Texas. Born on January 17, 1992, in Manila, Philippines, he brought a spirit of adventure and warmth to all who knew him.
Casey pursued his education in welding at Texas State Technical College (TSTC) in West Texas. His hands-on skill was reflected in his craft. He was a natural learner in science, music, and construction. Whether working with metal or exploring the great outdoors, Casey approached life with energy and enthusiasm.
He was known for his deep love of nature and spent much of his time immersed in the outdoors. Fishing along quiet rivers, hiking rugged trails, camping under open skies, mountain biking through challenging terrain, and gazing at the stars were among his favorite pastimes. These moments brought him peace and joy and allowed him to connect with the world around him in meaningful ways.
Casey’s caring and supportive nature left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to share in his journey. He was adventurous at heart—always ready for a new trail or a spontaneous trip—and brought that same sense of wonder into his relationships.
He is lovingly remembered by his father, Glenn Andrews; his brother, Austin Andrews; and his sister, Apryl Andrews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Melanie Labrador Andrews; as well as his grandparents: Leta and Albert Andrews, and Marcela and Luciano Labrador.
May Casey’s memory bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a reminder of a life lived with heart, courage, and curiosity.
