Alan's obituary
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Alan Stone Jr, on October 19, 2023. Alan, affectionately known to many as BigAl, was born on February 27, 1980. A man of great charisma and charm, he was known for his jovial personality, infectious laughter, and musical talent.
Alan is survived by his mother, Patti Laurents, siblings, sister Sarah Stone and brother Richard Stone, and his two daughters, Allison and Emma Stone. He is predeceased by his father, Alan Stone Sr.
Alan was a man of many talents and hobbies. He was an avid fisherman who found solace in the serene calm of the waters. Known for his musical talents, Alan could often be found strumming his guitar and singing at family get togethers. He was also a great adventurer who loved taking road trips, exploring the beauty of the country and seeing roadside attractions.
He lived by simple, yet profound principles: Enjoy every day, work hard, and always extend a helping hand to those in need. These are the valuable lessons Alan taught by example, touching lives and inspiring every person he came across.
From a young age, Alan demonstrated his athleticism and competitive spirit playing baseball, football, and basketball. He was a proud alumnus of RL Turner High School where he not only excelled in sports, but also left his mark as a talented saxophone player.
