Alan's obituary

In Loving Memory of Alan Ray Lewallen, Sr.

February 8, 1962 – February 15, 2026

Alan Ray Lewallen, Sr., aged 64, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026 surrounded by family.  Born on February 8, 1962, to Loyd and Emma Lewallen, Alan lived a life full of character, humor, and a deep love for the great outdoors.

A Life of Wit and Adventure

Alan was a man of simple pleasures and a massive personality.  He was happiest when he was fishing or camping, soaking in the quiet of nature—though he rarely stayed quiet for long.  Known as someone who "never met a stranger," Alan could strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere.  He will be most fondly remembered for his sarcasm and wit, always ready with a sharp joke or a clever remark that kept his friends and family laughing.

Family and Legacy

Alan’s heart belonged to his family. He celebrated his 64th birthday just one week prior to his passing, a final milestone shared with those he loved most.

He is survived by:

His Children: Misty Brown, Alan Lewallen II, and Alana Lewallen.

His Step-children: Travis Wolcott, Dallas Nichol, and Matthew Nichol.

His Siblings: Debbie Lewallen, Donna Evans, and Michael Lewallen.

Alan was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Loyd and Emma Lewallen.  His memory will live on in the stories told around campfires and the laughter of those who knew his unique sense of humor.

A small celebration of life gathering will be at Haikey Creek Park in Broken Arrow from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, February 28th for those who wish to attend.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you send a donation to your favorite charity in Alan's name.
