Alan Jerome Harris Obituary

Alan Jerome Harris of Abita Springs, Louisiana was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and passed away on March 30, 2024 at age 68.

Alan, the son of a WWII Navy veteran and grandson of a WWI Army veteran joined the United States Navy at an early age and served in the prestigious Color Guard and on submarines. Alan met the love of his life and started a family which extended to several children and grandchildren. He worked diligently to open a successful air conditioning /heating business. Alan deeply loved his parents, siblings and family. Alan never met a stranger, got along with all kinds of folks, was a spiritual leader and lived a Godly life

Besides having a sharp sense of humor, he was extremely talented. There was nothing he could not build or fix from homes, autos, motorcycles, boats and more. Gone to be with Jesus in Heaven way too soon, Alan is and always will be missed by multitudes of friends and all family.
