Personal note

A Poem for Alan; by his sister, Candy L McIntyre:

Your spirit runs free,
Your soul flows deep.
Now you lie down for a long deep sleep.

You lived your life with no regrets.
Your life was as colorful as all the sunsets.

Now the sun sets with the heavens above,
Knowing you are with God and all his love.

You were born with music in your veins.
Now music can be heard when it rains.

It now rains memories of your precious time on this earth.
Your spirit is now free—it’s renewed— rebirthed.

You were the wolf, the family, the pack. You held your friends close and didn’t hold back.

You gave of yourself freely to those you held dear. Lending a hand anywhere, any time of year.

This is not a farewell or a goodbye. For now we will say so long, even though it may be a time for a good cry. We only part until it’s time to sing our own song.

So we will say so long for now,
See you later alligator,
In a while crocodile,
Catch you on the flip-side,
You are so loved and will be missed deeply!
