Obituary
Alan Russell Cowart , 74, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away on March 27, 2026, after a brief illness, surrounded by family. Alan didn’t measure his life by accomplishments, but by people—the grandchildren who climbed onto his lap to hear a story, the friends he kept close no matter the distance , and by his children who always knew they could count on him for a listening ear, steady advice, or a helping hand.
