I wish I could be here! I miss Alan very much as I am sure all of us do. He was a once in a lifetime character.
I met Alan when I moved into the apartment next to him. He greeted me with a big smile and said "come over for coffee anytime!"
His beautiful daughter Jen and son in law Geno were there and were very welcoming. GOOD PEOPLE.
You never had to guess where you stood with Alan. He wasn't shy at all!
He was always there to offer his wisdom and help. I loved going to breakfast with him (of course everyone in Front Royal
knew Alan)
He introduced me to the Two Fat Butchers and their BBQ and we would enjoy every morsel! And Thursday's was a
salad from the moose ( we shared some very opinionated stories about our government too)
His favorite name for me was "you are a pain in my damn ass!" I loved it! Of course I called him Ole' Man!
Life hasn't been the same without him. No morning coffee and watching Yellowstone, no more debates.
I have some of my greatest memories with Alan and will miss him forever! Ionly knew Alan for 2 years but he has a forever
place in my heart. I love you Alan. You were a great friend!
