Obituary

Alan Charles Clute of Mountainair, New Mexico, passed peacefully on the evening of July 2. He was born in Berkeley, California, on April 12, 1944, and had lived in Iowa, Nebraska, and California, before moving to New Mexico in 2005.

While maintaining a career as a computer programmer, Alan was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fly-fishing in the Sierra Mountains, windsurfing, horseback riding, and shooting. A founding member of the Manzano Mountain Gun Club, Alan …
